Good Neighbors Home Repair

Good Neighbors Home Repair has been serving low-income families of Southern Chester County with critical home repairs for 28 years.  The work is done at no cost to the homeowner.  The repairs are done to make the home "warmer, safer, drier and healthier".  Examples of repairs made include roofs, windows, siding, heating systems, water heaters, repairing porches and steps, and critical electrical and plumbing repairs.  Three years ago Good Neighbors expanded into New Castle County because there was a severe need.  This year, Good Neighbors will serve 80 families in each county.  We are supported by grants and donations and our budget is $700K.
 
Harold Naylor is the Executive Director.  He has had 20 years of non-profit leadership experience following a career in DuPont and other companies.  Harold also serves on the board of A Door of Hope pregnancy care center in Wilmington, and an elder at Faith Presbyterian Church.  He and his wife, Cynthia, have 4 adult children and live in North Wilmington
