Our Annual Gala, this year on Saturday, March 10, 2012, is our only fundraising event for the year. We are hoping you will be one of our event sponsors.

How can you help our club and all the local charities we support? You can:

    - Sponsor a Gaming Table
    - Sponsor Wine Clips
    - Donate an item or service for our Silent Auction
    - Donate a prize for our Chance Raffle at the end of the night
    - Purchase an advertisement in the Program
    - Purchase tickets to the Gala

This year’s theme, “Monte Carlo Night” is sure to be a huge success as we are expecting 400 to be in attendance. We have hired the #1 Casino operators on the East Coast, so our guests can expect a first-class gaming operation experience. Add to that an incredible array of culinary choices, open bar, dancing, and our top-notch silent auction. What better way to spend an evening!

Funds raised from “Monte Carlo Night” will help the Longwood Rotary Club Foundation continue its community outreach efforts. Over our organization’s 14-year history and thanks to supporters like you, we are proud to have disbursed over $650,000 to worthy humanitarian causes in our local area. And last year alone, we logged over 3,000 in-service hours to local community projects.

Just a few of our local beneficiaries include:

> Kennett Mushroom Festival where we staff the information booth for this 2-day event

> American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life”

> The Garage- Renovation of a West Grove building for a new youth center

> College Scholarships for Kennett and Unionville High School students.

> Book bag project for under-served children

> Trail maintenance at Anson B. Nixon Park, and much, much more….
