The first Youth Development Forum held on March 4th served 35 students. Spearheaded by Linda Riondet and Len Vannicola, the day was very rewarding for students and guest speaker alike.
Jim Horn was awarded Rotarian of the Quarter for his tireless work securing sponsors for our Annual Fundraising Gala held very year at Longwood Gardens. When Jim commits to working on a project, he always comes through. We are so grateful that Jim, a charter member of this Club, is still so committed and active in the good works of Rotary.
Linda Riondet spearheaded the Book Bag Project which provided over 550 bookbags and school supplies to children from kindergarten to high school. Leonie Kolvenbag raised over $13,000 for the End Polio Now Campaign which was a multi-club effort. The campaign received matching funds from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Thirty-eight hearty souls went to NYC on December 10th on a private bus. Some went to the theatre. Some did a restaurant crawl. Some went shopping, but all had fun sightseeing in the big apple for the holidays. Rotarians serve their communities and have fun to boot!

Nate from Beds for Vets accepts a grant from Steve Maley, President of the Rotary Club of Longwood Foundation at meeting on October 27th.
On October 13, 2022, Steve Maley, Foundation President awards grants to A Child's Light and Maternal Child & Health Consortium. The Foundation routinely awards over $60,000 each year and has awarded grants totaling more than a million dollars in it's 25 year existence. On October 20th, Reins for Life were awarded their check by President Lynn Nathan.
Thirty Longwood Rotarians gathered at Arcadian Winery in West Grove on September 23rd for a great event.
